This past week, I was working on a test shoot for photographer Mani Zarrin (www.manizarrin.com), former assistant to renown fashion photographer Nick Knight (http://nickknight.com/main.html). A test shoot allows photographers and models to further their portfolios. We chose to tell two stories: one black and white, the other of color. I assisted professional fashion consultant Colleen McCann on set, to come up with about twelve to fifteen looks. We spent time before the shoot shopping and going to show room appointments to find clothing and accessories that would best fit the stories. Combined with professional hair and make up artists, the looks came together beautifully and portrayed a great spread. Here are some behind the scenes shots.
